This was our go to place when we visited key west! We loved the bartender there and they have a regular happy hour and a later happy hour! The frozen drinks were what we ordered and really liked! Stop by for sure when you're walking down Duval street.
We went to Lucy's on a Tuesday. Cora our waitress was awesome! Their shrimp tacos are so so good! Loved their pork tacos too! They were so good we ordered some to take back to our hotel for later. We highly recommend their Tropicolada which is their take on a pinacolada with a splash of amaretto. Yummilicious!! Had fun trying their Scorpion shot which came with an "I survived the Scorpion Shot" t-shirt. We loved Lucy's !! Give them a try!!
Bright and fresh restaurant with bar and live music. Was great to sit down to a clean table and well thought out menu. Awesome drinks and beer selection. Order the Blue Whale and you'll get a surprise! The nachos were incredible with not a naked chip in sight. Jerk chicken wasn't very authentic, but tasty nonetheless. Really great atmosphere. After dinner, we moved to the outdoor seating right on Duval, where Dallas entertained us with requests. His repertoire goes deep. Don't miss this terrific place. (I hope the staff puts a stop to the stickers showing up on the walls...it's such a cute place.)
Fun vibe here! We ate inside although there is outdoor seating as well. Great drink menu, and we tried several, all good but our favorite was the palm dragon which was light and creamy--coconut drink with a hint of berry flavor from the rum which was a new combination for me that worked! Lots of fun toys to take home too! Tom was our waiter and he was friendly and attentive. The Shaka ceviche had a generous portion of fish and the citrus marinade was excellent. The chips tasted homemade and paired well. The Jamaican jerk chicken had a slight kick to it and the sauce was incredible, different than what I am used to. The plantains, rice and beans were all delicious as well. My one complaint was that the portion of chicken was very small for an entree. My daughter had the bbq pulled pork sandwich, a brioche bun filled with a good amount of meat and full of flavor. Her boyfriend had a cheeseburger ( juicy Lucy) which looked great. Accompanying French fries were perfectly crispy and well seasoned. Prices typical for Key West, not cheap but not super expensive. You won't be disappointed if you eat here!!!
Don't miss Lucy's, either for happy hour on the patio or a late-night drink upstairs overlooking Duval street. The bar staff is fun and talented, so tip them big - especially when they tell you the story behind some of the more creative drinks like the "Shark Attack". We managed two visits in a 4 day trip, and saw completely different clientele each time. Definitely worth a stop when in Key West!
